DAMAI CAVE EXTREME PARK.
Damai
cave is located in Batu Caves, Selangor. The distance between Damai Cave is
about 20 minutes from the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Damai Cave is one of the place
that rarely hear by local people and some of them never know the existence of
this cave because it is located behind of the Batu Caves. Besides, Damai Cave
also known as Damai Cave Extreme Park because they are providing many adventure
and extreme activities there. It offers an eco-recreational cum educational
outdoor activities to all people which is bring you to enter the adventure
world of the difficulty or obstacle rope management that you will remember the
rest of your life.
At
Damai Cave, people can enjoy themselves the trekking, wiry the traditional
herbs, caving and also get through via obstacle rope management. Besides,
people can try to challenge their fear and test their agility through hiking,
scrambling, crawling, squeezing and gliding the longest Zip Line in safety way
while gaining to appreciate the wonder of Damai Cave. Then, this is the best
climbing site and it has more than 120 bolted routes with grades of ranging
from 5 to 7s and make it suitable to newcomers in sport. Damai Cave also have
two other natural protection and safety route and it’s decent in learning how
to use the natural protection devices when used in rock climbing.
Next, there are many facilities and basic amenities that provided at Damai Cave such as toilet, dustbin, kiosk, bench, table and lighting for night climbing. There is no entrance fees or charges at Damai Cave but people who come here need to get a permit and compulsory to register themselves in guest book at their office during operation time from 9 am until 6 pm every day. The specialty that provided at Damai Cave is the people are allowing to do the night climbing and Cave climbing. Do not forget to mention that at Damai Cave also have base jump for people. It is operating on morning session only. Damai Cave is the first and only place that offered base jump with height of 316 feet from its cliff and land it at the football field.
